A Past Master Ring usually:

  • Bears the Square and Compasses along with a Quadrant

It commonly features several symbols on the side, most commonly the Gavel and Top Hat.

Master Mason Rings can sometimes also feature symbols from other Masonic bodies.

Variations

A Past Master Ring from Pennsylvania, featuring the Top Hat and Gavel on the sides.

In some jurisdictions, the symbol of a Past master is the 47th problem of Euclid. Jewelry from these jurisdictions can sometimes bear this symbol instead.
