Past Master Jewelry is worn by someone who has previously been elected to serve as Worshipful Master of his Lodge. This means the Mason was elected and served as the head of his Lodge.

Like a Past Master Ring, a jewel of this type usually:

  • Bears the Square and Compasses along with a Quadrant
  • Commonly features the Sun

In some jurisdictions, the symbol of a Past master is the 47th problem of Euclid. Jewelry from these jurisdictions can sometimes bear this symbol instead.
